Ionesco's 'Princess' wins in Mumbai

"My Princess Or QueenInchMUMBAI -- Helmer Avoi Ionesco's French-language "My Princess Or QueenInch needed top honors within the Mumbai film fest Thursday. Pic won the Golden Gateway Award for top film, with a cash prize of $100,000. Ionesco also won the Silver Gateway award for top director. Isabelle Huppert and Anamaria Vartolomei shared the most effective actress award for "Princess." Canadian helmer Sebastien Pilote's "Le Vendeur" (The Sales rep) won the grand jury award with a cash prize of $50,000. Gilbert Sicotte won best actor for your film. Cinematographer Diego Poleri won the technical excellence award for that the spanish language language-language "Las Acacias." Debutant Austrian helmer Markus Schleinzer won the special jury award for "Michael." Morgan Freeman, lead of closing evening film "Dolphin Tale," won the world lifetime achievement award. Similar to the world individuals who win round the evening, he wasn't found in Mumbai, but recognized using a pre-recorded video link. Multihyphenate Gulzar was approved the Indian lifetime achievement award. The festival examined greater than 200 films from 60 nations and attracted an audience of some 100,000 patrons.
