Travers to steer BFI marketing team

LONDON -- Christopher Travers remains hired for the British Film Institute's lately created role of director of promoting, communications and audiences. Inside the role, which Travers will need up from mid-October, he'll lead the BFI's communications and audience teams, although integrating proper and commercial marketing, public matters and government relations, corporate and consumer press and PR, membership, and audience and customer experience. He'll report right to BFI Boss Amanda Nevill, and may sit back around the BFI's executive board. Travers formerly labored as director of strategy and communications for your Royal Parks, where he was responsible for leading commercial development for activities and occasions in London's parks, like the Hyde Park concert season, the Olympics as well as the Royal Wedding festivities.
